Fort Fun Team Building Extreme
Go beyond the benefit of "playing"
together at Fort Fun and take an opportunity to refine your team.
Under the guidance of Fort Fun Staff, your team will engage in
some Initiative Games that will help your team explore
the art of cooperation, appreciation of each others' contribution
to the team, effective communication, logistics, setting priorities,
managing time and resources, etc. Each experience is unique and
tailored to meet the goals you have for your team.
Each Initiative Game is set up with your
particular goals in mind. We start with fun, sometimes silly games
and build from there. Eventually, the group is presented with
an initiative task that requires some degree of cooperation to
complete. Tasks are driven by "the rules," and modified
with time pressures, handicaps for those who break the "rules,"
complexity, competition, etc. in order to meet the goals of the
group. Each game is followed by facilitated discussion. Most initiative
tasks are geared for groups of 10-15. Some games can be modified
to accommodate a larger group (up to 30 or so). The ultimate goal
is to get everyone actively participating, simulating the work
environment in a playful way. Learning and "ah hah moments"
result from this type of playful initiative experience.
